Using up to 32 Spartan–6 LX150(T) FPGAs in its standard configuration, RIVYERA formica S6-LX150 represents a new generation of application specific desktop accelerated computing. It provides high-density supercomputing power to a wide audience. With its miniaturized design, simply attach your new FPGA accelerator to your regular workstation or laptop to have a supercomputer directly in your office.

Using up to 32 Xilinx Spartan–6 LX150(T) FPGAs, one formica provides significant performance for extreme but cost-efficient speed-ups of your applications or even new types of analysis and competitive advantage. Directly attached 512 MByte of DRAM and the possibility to add an additional 32 GByte of micro-SD card based memory offer lots of memory, per FPGA, even for memory intensive applications.

A PCIe interface connects the massively parallel FPGA-PC Accelerator to an existing PC, which can serve as an interface to the rest of the network.
